SEA ISLE CITY – Firefighters responded to a report of a structure fire on the 4100 block of Landis Avenue as a winter storm raged around them Jan. 23. 
Sea Isle City Fire Department, with Ocean View Fire Department assisting, had to contend with strong winds and flooding while working to extinguish the fire which damaged two shops, Avalon Bagel and Jamaican Me Crazy.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
