Firefighters Battle Chimney Fire

MARMORA – Tuckahoe Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to respond to a possible structure fire in the area of Oak Road at 8:25 a.m. Feb. 18, according to a post on Tuckahoe Volunteer Fire Company’s Facebook page.
Crews arrived on location and confirmed a working chimney fire. Engine 20-40 and Tower 20-50 responded and provided manpower. Tuckahoe units worked on scene for approximately one hour to extinguish the fire.
No injuries were reported.
Fire companies from Marmora and Seaville also responded.
