CAPE MAY – Firefighters responded to a structure fire at 805 Stockton Avenue, Cape May around 5:47 a.m Jan. 25. The Cape May Fire Department and U.S. Coast Guard were first on scene working in the back side of the Bedford Inn.
Cape May Fire Department called a second alarm on the fire for West Cape May, Town Bank and Erma Fire Departments. Villas was covering Town Bank and West Cape May.
The fire is under investigation by the Cape Cay County Fire Marshal unit and Cape May Police Department.
