Fire Damages Wildwood House

WILDWOOD — A fire, reported by a passerby about 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 20, heavily damaged a dwelling at 210 W. Maple Ave.
The smoky blaze was quickly extinguished by first responders from Wildwood Fire Department.
The house, which is for sale, was not occupied at the time. The family who lives there was reportedly on vacation.
The Cape May County Fire Marshal’s Office investigators were looking into the probable cause of the fire, which had not been determined as of Monday morning.
No injuries were reported.
No further information was available.
