Extra Tickets to Cosby’s Show to Aid Local Charities-6-22-2006

By Christine Cote

AVALON – The show “A Very Special Evening with Bill Cosby” has been sold-out almost since it was announced in April.
But, additional tickets to see the comedian Saturday in the school’s new multipurpose room are available.
According to Dave Coskey, borough resident and event organizer, more tickets have surfaced because 30 set aside for the entertainer’s use were returned and at least 35 more seats can be set up because production changes eliminated or moved equipment.
The room has the capacity for 900, according to Stacy LaRocca-Tracy, the school’s supervisor of curriculum and instructions, but she did not know how many tickets or seats were to be available for the show.
For tickets call 800-298-4200. Proceeds from the show will benefit six charities in Cape May and Atlantic counties.
