Woodbine Begins Recycling Can Distribution

WOODBINE – The Borough of Woodbine will be celebrating America Recycles Day by kicking-off its recycling container distribution.
Woodbine’s Sustainable Jersey Green Team will be distributing recycling containers Dec. 3, 2016 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Woodbine Public Works Garage located at 401 Madison Avenue. Proof of residency is required.
The funds for these containers came from a Recycling Tonnage Grant provided to the Borough by the State of New Jersey.
“America Recycles Day, a program of Keep America Beautiful, is a nationally recognized day dedicated to promoting and celebrating recycling in the United States. Every year on or around Nov. 15 (America Recycles Day) event organizers like Woodbine, educate neighbors, friends, and colleagues through recycling themed events,” added Mayor Pikolycky.
