Volunteers Needed at the Nature Center of Cape May

By Sponsored Content

CAPE MAY – New Jersey Audubon’s Nature Center of Cape May needs help, your help in our Nature Store and Welcome Center. The Nature Center is a volunteer driven organization that simply can not exist nor carry on its critically important role of fostering environmental awareness in Cape May without volunteers.
Our Nature Store and Welcome Center always has a critical need for volunteers to help out as receptionists, greeters and gift shop cashiers. This is a low-impact, but vitally important function. Everybody knows the importance of first impressions. Please help us make that all important positive first impression!
We have many, many other volunteer opportunities including helping with: our annual plant sales, computer maintenance and data entry, programming, leading nature walks, assisting with our children’s’ programs, computer and graphic design, cleaning, mailings and stuffing envelopes, public relations, school programs, special events like Harbor Fest.
The Benefits of volunteering are many, including: Invitations to special volunteer events, recognition of your contribution, Nature Store discounts, annual volunteer picnic, and most importantly, new friends, a sense of belonging and the knowledge that you are indeed part of the solution!
For more details, pick up a Volunteer Application at the Center, 1600 Delaware Avenue in Cape May, or call: 609-898-8848 or email us: nccm@njaudubon.org.
