‘Super’ Full Moon Rises Over County

By Al Campbell

COURT HOUSE — For moon gazers, the place to be at 7:31 pm. Sat., March 19 was an eastern vista to watch the “super”
full moon rise.
One such place was Benny’s Landing, east of Garden State Parkway.
The moon arose with an orange tint, but soon brightened as it rose in the sky.
Spring will arrive Sun., March 20 at 7:21 p.m.
According to The Old Farmer’s Almanac, the “super” moon occurred because the moon was close to the earth. Such an event will not happen again until 2016.
