Shifting Sand Reveals Mysterious Remains at Stone Harbor Point

STONE HARBOR – Crowds of curious onlookers over the Christmas 2018 holiday were drawn to a mysterious set of wooden fragments that once were a vessel.
The rib-like portions at the waterline evoked comments from many history buffs about the vessel and what it might have been carrying when it met its fate near Hereford Inlet.
The wreck drew a great deal of attention from metropolitan media, which fed the tourists streaming down the beach to witness the scene.
