COURT HOUSE –– Middle Township Committee voted Sept. 17 to encourage residents to vote “yes” on Nov. 6 for the Green Acres, Farmland, Blue Acres and Historic Preservation Act of 2007.
The act will authorize the state to issue $200 million in bonds to fund New Jersey’s preservation programs for a year.
The resolution remarks on the importance of preserving the state’s open spaces while long-term funding for these programs are found.
