It’s Hot Even at the Shore, 103 in the Shade.

RIO GRANDE— No, your thermometer is correct if it is reading 100 degrees.
Outside the Herald Building, the temperature taken in the shade, facing north on a grassy area was 103 degrees at 2:28 p.m. Thur. June 24. See the forecast on this website for an indication when the heat will break.
