Earth Day Logos Sought From County Students

COURT HOUSE — Hey, students. Put on your “green” thinking cap and craft a logo for Cape May County Earth Day. If it wins, it could be printed on T-shirts.
This year’s Earth Day, April 19, theme will be “Leap Into Green” and will be held at the Cape May County Park and Zoo, Route 9, Swainton.
The logo contest is sponsored by the Cape May County Board of Chosen Freeholders and is open to all Cape May County students
Submission deadline is March 31,
Criteria for entry:
* Hand-drawn artwork incorporating the following theme: “Leap Into Green”
* Black and white design on 8 -1/2 x 11-inch paper
* Print name, address, telephone number and name of school on the back of submission.
Conditions:
* All entries become the property of the Cape May County Earth Day Committee.
* Designs may be modified or combined to achieve the best possible results.
Presentation of awards will take place during the freeholders’ meeting on April 8, at 4:30 p.m. at the County Administration Building.
