Earth Day Celebrated with Food, Music, Displays

COURT HOUSE – An Earth Day Celebration was at the Cape May County Park and Zoo Sat., April 21.
The theme of this year’s event was “Set the Scene… Go Green!”
The day began at 7:30 a.m. with registration for both a 1 Mile Fun Run and the 5K Run.
An Earth Day Fair was held from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. This year’s main event was an environmental magic show with Bill Kerwood. There were more than 30 craft and information exhibits at the fair.
Live music included the Too Trio and singer/songwriter Dan Barry. Mark Jacopec led a drum circle for kids and adults.
