County MUA Announces Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day

WOODBINE – Cape May County Municipal Utilities Authority (CMCMUA) has announced that a “Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day” will be held Sept. 9 at the CMCMUA Sanitary Landfill, 2050 Route #610, Woodbine, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
CMCMUA will be accepting thinners/solvents, cleaning products, flammable liquids, automotive products, pesticides/herbicides, glues/adhesives, photographic chemicals, mercury-containing items and pool chemicals.
They will not be accepting unidentified wastes, explosives, radioactive materials, aerosol cans, paint, motor oil, antifreeze, as well as waste from regulated hazardous waste generators.
