Community Clean-Up Group Receives Truck Donation from South Jersey Gas

By Press Release

South Jersey Gas recently donated a retired utility truck to “Your Choice, The People’s Choice,” a local grassroots litter abatement group started by Absecon resident Marlon Hargis. YCTPC’s mission is to provide detailed litter removal throughout Atlantic County’s communities, waterways, and wetlands.
The truck will be used to haul heavy items such as tires and vehicle debris, branches, and other materials strewn about streets, sidewalks, and alleys. “We had to take matters into our own hands,” said Hargis of his group. “You can talk about cleaning up our cities, but we knew it was time to just get out there and do it.”
Those interested in getting involved with YCTPC can call 609-383-8571, email yc_tpc@yahoo.com or find them on Facebook by searching YCTPC. For more information about South Jersey Gas and its commitment to the community, please visit www.southjerseygas.com .
