Coastal Flood Advisory in Effect 1-6 p.m. Monday

By Herald Staff

RIO GRANDE — The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a coastal flood advisory which will be in effect Monday, Oct. 20 from 1-6 p.m.
The persistent north to northeast flow associated with a strong storm in the Atlantic will keep tidal levels higher than normal for today.
Water levels around the high tide today will be slightly higher than the levels on Sunday.
The high tide will occur in Delaware Bay between 1-5 p.m.
A coastal flood advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.
