Artist displayed four pieces of artwork on easels set up right in Stone Harbor’s own butterfly and songbird gardens. Paintings included Brian O’Neill’s “Tiger Swallowtail,” which he has donated to the sanctuary. The artists’ exhibits will be displayed at Ocean Galleries in Stone Harbor from July 31 to Aug. 2.
Stone Harbor Bird Sanctuary was established in 1947 and features signature birds, such as White Egrets and Blue Herons. This 21-acre Sanctuary “is more than just birds.”
It’s preservation of the island, dunes, trees, and of course birds.
