Enjoy Tuckahoe’s ‘Christmas in the Country’

The Greater Tuckahoe Area Merchants’ Association, Inc. will sponsor their 14th Annual Christmas in the Country, Saturday, Dec. 6 beginning at 9 a.m.
You can follow the parade to all of the day’s planned activities at the historic train station and the station house on Railroad Ave.
Numerous activities are planned for Downtown Tuckahoe.
The parade will begin at 10 a.m. in Corbin City, head into Tuckahoe across the Tuckahoe River on Route 50, and end at the Tuckahoe train station.
The parade will feature Santa, who will be arriving on the Santa Express at 9:45 a.m. at the train station. The parade will include floats, fire and rescue equipment, marching groups from throughout the area, and local entertainment.

Awards will be presented, and you can also register online at troop55.com.
A craft show will be held inside the station house on Railroad Ave. across from the historic train station.
There will food and train rides available throughout the day.
