Tuesday in Camden County: Assembly Education Committee to 2nd Public Hearing on School Funding

By Press Release

TRENTON – The Assembly Education Committee will meet Feb. 7 in Camden County for the second regional public hearing across the state to receive testimony from the public regarding matters related to education funding in New Jersey.
The hearing is scheduled for Feb. 7, and is slated to start at 6 p.m. in the Conference Center of the Camden County Technical Schools – Gloucester Township Campus, located at 343 Berlin Cross Keys Road, Sicklerville, New Jersey, 08081.
Assembly Speaker Vincent Prieto announced the hearings in January as part of a process to gain input and opinions from experts and residents across the state in order to find a school funding solution that’s fair to taxpayers, school districts and children.
The Assembly Education Committee first heard from education experts during a Jan. 18 hearing at the Statehouse. It then held its first regional public hearing in Hackensack last week to receive testimony from the public.
