John McAllister

Why are you running for the Board of Education?
I’ve been on the BOE for 10 years and want to continue to help maintain the stability and the direction of our board in properly educating our children and to provide a safe and conservative environment for them to grow and achieve success. Our school is K- 4 and should not be subject to this radical agenda.
Do you support the new state standards for sex education as described in the 2020 Comprehensive Health and Physical Education standards? How will your view impact the decisions you make?
Absolutely not. Reckless and nonsensical.  Creates unnecessary confusion for children. Parents should be responsible for educating young children and seek available help from profession personnel if needed. Conservative sex education is appropriate beginning at the 6-7 grade levels.  I will not support what has been set forth by the state.
