MOUNT LAUREL – Since 2009, as part of its commitment to helping school districts keep dollars in the classroom by reducing costs, New Jersey Schools Insurance Group (NJSIG) has awarded their seven funds throughout the state over $30,000,000 in Safety Grants. The grants are used by member districts to invest in safety related projects.
NJSIG is pleased to announce that since 2009, their fund, Cape May Atlantic Insurance Pool (CAIP), administered by Joseph Meola, of J. Byrne Agency of Wildwood, has been awarded over $1,000,000 which has been divided between the 20+ member districts involved in the program.
This year, NJSIG will be awarding $4,000,000 to their member districts throughout the state. CAIP is expected to receive $337,383.28, which will be appropriately divided between the 20+ districts in the fund.
NJSIG’s Safety Grant program provides funding to districts to invest in proactive risk management and safety-related projects and improvements. NJSIG partners with organizations to reduce the costs of a districts risk management programs, helping them put funding where it belongs: in the classroom. The NJSIG Safety Grant continues a tradition of partnership between NJSIG and its member districts that contribute to the development of a strong safety culture in New Jersey’s school district communities.
