Back by popular demand, the Cape May County Library’s Adult Summer Reading Program, “Don’t Bug Me; I’m Reading,” encourages adults to enjoy reading during the summer months.
The contest begins June 30 at all branches of the Cape May County Library. Adults are invited to read (or listen to) any book they want.
Just stop by any Cape May County Library and pick up a folder that includes optional reading lists, entry forms and rules.
By participating and filling out an entry form each week you could be a lucky winner! There is no limit to the number of books that can be read each week, so submit as many entry forms as you like.
At the end of each week, for five weeks beginning July 3, a drawing will be held at each library branch with the winner being announced on Friday.
A different prize will be given weekly. On the sixth week a drawing will be held that includes all of the summer’s entries for a grand prize, consisting of all the prizes given during previous drawings!
“Don’t Bug Me; I’m Reading” is part of the library’s summer theme, “Catch the Reading Bug.”
Special programs offered for adults this summer are: “How to Create a Butterfly and Hummingbird Garden,” “All about Beneficial Insects,” The Buzz about Beekeeping,” “How to Spot Butterflies with Pat Sutton,” and “Milkweed for Monarchs.”
