RIO GRANDE — Daylight Saving Time begins at 2 a.m. March 14. It’s also a good time to remember to check the batteries in your smoke detectors.
The time change will mean early risers will experience less light when they awaken, but the sun will remain in the sky longer, making after-dinner activities possible.
