Woodbine State Police Release Arrest and Activities Report, Oct. 23-Nov. 1

WOODBINE – Woodbine State Police is asking for the public’s help regarding the recent thefts of several commercial air conditioner units stolen from three businesses in Upper Township. These thefts have occurred during the late night or early morning. Anyone with information please call the Woodbine State Police Criminal Investigation Office at 609 -861-5698.
Arrests: The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendants are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
– Trooper Delgado and other Woodbine Troopers investigated a theft complaint at the Tuckahoe Inn Oct. 23. Two employees, Thomas Rodier and Anthony Collier from Pleasantville, N.J., were identified as suspects. Their investigation continued and on Nov. 3 the suspects were located at their residence in Pleasantville, where they were placed under arrest. Rodier attempted to flee the scene but was quickly apprehended by Troopers. Heroin was also recovered as a result of this investigation. Both were charged with theft and possession of heroin, and Rodier was additionally charged with resisting by flight.
– Troopers Gillespie and Morley arrested Adam Gifford and Richard McHale from Middle Twp., and Michael Leinbach from Cape May for possession of marijuana after coming in contact with them in a vehicle while the Troopers were conducting a property check on Jakes Landing Road in Dennis Twp. Oct. 24. McHale was additionally charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
– Trooper Lauer arrested Christian Santiago and Haakim Wilson, from Millville, N.J., Oct. 24. While on a motor vehicle stop for speeding and tinted windows, active traffic warrants were found for the driver, Santiago. The investigation was continued and a search warrant was eventually executed on the vehicle which resulted in marijuana, paraphernalia and illegal fireworks being found. Both subjects were subsequently charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. Driver Santiago was additionally charged with possession of illegal fireworks and driving while suspended.
– Troopers Burgess and Warwick arrested Antonio Ballinger Jr. from Vineland, N.J. for illegal possession of prescription drugs while on a motor vehicle stop Oct. 24.
– Trooper Butterhof stopped a vehicle for erratic driving Oct. 25. As a result, one passenger, Vernon Scurry from Millville, N.J., was arrested for active warrants and subsequent possession of marijuana, and another passenger, Ronald Saunders Jr. from Vineland, N.J., was arrested for obstruction after giving false information as to his proper identity.
– Trooper Womack charged Maria Rowell and Ashley Laracuente from Woodbine with simple assault following a physical altercation they were involved in against one another while attending a political gathering in Woodbine Oct. 30. Both were charged and released.
– Woodbine Troopers investigated a motor vehicle accident in Woodbine on Washington Ave. Nov. 1. Investigation revealed that a female subject, Latifah McNeal, was struck by a vehicle being operated by Sky Davis. Both subjects are from Woodbine. It was learned that there was a prior argument between the two women at which point Davis got into her vehicle with her son who was placed in the rear of the vehicle. The argument continued with McNeal standing in front of the vehicle. Davis then proceeded forward and struck McNeal causing minor injury. She was transported to Cape Regional hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Davis was arrested and charged with assault by auto and DWI, operating a vehicle while under the influence with a juvenile in the vehicle.
