Woodbine State Police Release Arrest and Activities Report, Nov. 25 – Dec. 8

WOODBINE – The following are the arrests made by the Woodbine State Police and their activities from Nov. 25-Dec. 8.
Arrests: The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendants are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
– Juan Rodolfo from Bridgeton was arrested by Tropper Richard Echevarria Nov. 25 for possession of CDS (heroin) and a hypodermic needle. Trooper Echevarria was investigating a suspicious person at a convenience store on Rt. 9 in Dennis Twp. He came upon the suspect seated in his vehicle and observed him attempting to use the needle and CDS. He was arrested, processed and lodged in Cape May County Correctional Center after it was learned he had a warrant active for him.
– Joseph Eivich of Upper Twp. was charged by Trooper James Holtzapfel Nov. 26 for simple assault domestic violence for injuries received by his wife during an incident at their home. He was processed and released pending court.
– Sherryna Murray from Woodbine was arrested by Trooper James Holtzapfel Nov. 28 for hindering apprehension after she gave false information about her true identity while on a motor vehicle stop. The suspect, who was a passenger, admitted to giving false information because of some warrants that were active for her arrest. She was arrested, processed and lodged in Cape May County Correctional Center pending court.
– John Amos of Wildwood was arrested by Trooper Joseph D’Andrea Nov. 29 for aggravated assault, robbery and theft. Trooper D’Andrea investigated a complaint on Nov. 24 where the suspect allegedly assaulted another subject in a residence in Upper Twp. It was alleged that the suspect stole a computer notebook and assaulted the victim with it by hitting him over the head with it. The investigation culminated in the suspect’s arrest on Nov. 29. Suspect was arrested, processed and lodged in Cape May Coounty Correctional Center.
– Jason Madkiff from Millville, N.J. was arrested for burglary, theft and weapons offense by Trooper Dianna Wamsher Dec. 1. Trooper Wamsher investigated a theft complaint involving a .22 caliber handgun and gold wedding band from a residence in Upper Twp. Her investigation led her to identify a suspect who subsequently confessed to the theft. The wedding band was recovered and the investigation is continuing to locate the weapon. Suspect was processed and lodged in Cape May Coounty Correctional Center.
– Derick Fitzpatrick from Woodbine was arrested for domestic violence assault as a result of an investigation by Trooper Matthew Dye Dec. 8. The suspect allegedly assaulted his girlfriend by striking her in the face causing injury. On this date he was located and arrested.

Nov. 30: Nicholas Rodriguez from Woodbine
Dec. 1: Amanda Lafty from N. Cape May
Dec. 4: Gerald Skelton from Linwood, N.J.
Dec. 6 Andrea Scattolini from Vineland, N.J.
Woodbine Troopers are spreading the Christmas cheer by participating in the Toys-for-Tots program.
Woodbine Troopers are also participating more directly in the local community by the institution of a program called “Adopt-A-Family.” Through donations given directly by Troopers at the station, a needy family, or families, will be chosen to be unofficially “adopted” by the Woodbine station. The family (or families) will receive gift cards and a hot meal to help bless them during this Christmas season. Families are chosen from recommendations given by community agencies active in the area and tentatively, the family will receive the gift(s) on Dec. 18.
