Woodbine State Police Release Arrest and Activities Report, May 10-June 20

WOODBINE – The following are the arrests made by the Woodbine State Police and their activities from May 10-June 20.
Arrests: The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendants are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
Ryan Kennedy, 23, from Dennis Twp., was charged May 10 with possession of heroin, marijuana, hypodermic syringes and drug paraphernalia during a motor vehicle stop in Dennis Twp. He was processed and released.
Justin Steen, 19, from Beesley’s Point, was charged May 13 with unauthorized use of a credit card (making unauthorized purchases).
Ryan Clemson, 25, from Ocean View, was charged May 15 with possession of heroin, hypodermic syringes and resisting arrest (after attempting to flee on foot), and DWI during the course of a motor vehicle accident investigation. Clemson was lodged in Cape May County Correctional Center on charges.
Christopher Welch, 33, and Bryan Kane, 22, both from Philadelphia, Pa., were charged May 17 with eluding, possession of burglary tools, criminal attempt burglary, criminal mischief after being involved in a police pursuit with OCPD which ended in Beesley’s Point. Subjects fled on foot and were apprehended. They were turned over to NJSP Woodbine. Investigation determined that they attempted to break into the Village Pharmacy in Marmora. They were lodged in Cape May County Correctional Center.
Barbara Simpson, 52, from Court House, was charged May 19 with theft for allegedly taking money from her now ex-employer using forged returned slips. She was processed and released.
Thomas Rodier, 34, from Upper Twp., was charged May 21 with shoplifting $204 worth of seafood from the Marmora ShopRite. As a result of the investigation, he was also charged with possession of heroin and hypodermic needles.He was processed and released.
Dennis Mcaneny, 19, and Justin Steen, 19, both from Beesley’s Point, were charged May 23 with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia respectively during a motor vehicle stop in Upper Twp. Mcaneny was also charged with DWI. They were processed and released.
Thaddeus Dais, 22, and Jonathan Oakman, 21, both from Downingtown, Pa., were charged May 24 with eluding, resisting arrest, and obstruction for attempting to flee from the police during a motor vehicle stop. Suspects were arrested after their vehicle became disabled and they attempted to flee on foot. An arrest for a third suspect, Brett Butler, 21, also from Downingtown, Pa. is still pending his apprehension.
Tam Nguyen, 38, from Pine Hill, N.J. and Quoc Pham, 45, from Atlantic City, N.J., were charged May 24 with aggravated assault for their part in an altercation against one another. Pham was allegedly stabbed in the arm by Nguyen (treated at hospital and released) after a verbal argument escalated. Nguyen allegedly swung a golf club at Pham who was armed with a knife. A struggle ensued and Nguyen gained possession of the knife and allegedly used it on Pham. They were processed and released.
John Leith, 69, from Dennis Twp., was charged May 24 with simple assault (domestic violence) for allegedly assaulting his 71-year-old brother. He was processed and released.
Robert Rupf, 22, from Ocean View, was charged May 26 with theft for unauthorized use of his girlfriend’s mother’s debit card ($100). He was processed and released.
Two juveniles, one from Lower Twp. and one from Dennis Twp., were investigated May 29 for sending harassing/ threatening Instagram messages to another Dennis Twp. student. Both students were referred to the Cape Assist Pretrial Intervention Program.
Peter Dorsaneo, 22, from Havertown, Pa., was charged May 29 with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia during a motor vehicle stop in Dennis Twp. He was processed and released.
DWI Arrests:
May 23: Dennis Mcaneny, 19, from Beesley’s Point
May 25: Ryan Ahern, 19, from Petersburg
May 25: Gregory Paterno, 20, from Marmora
Clarification: Paterno was charged with DWI-Allowing which means he allowed an intoxicated driver to operate his vehicle.
May 26: Jack Paynter, 44, from Tuckahoe
May 31: Anthony Greto, 21, from Sea Isle City
June 1: Gabrielle Bassetti, 29, from Turnersville, N.J.
June 1: Heather O’Shea, 32, from Petersburg
June 5: Travoise Cannon, 28, from Bridgeton, N.J.
June 9: Renardo Shockley, 51, from Court House
June 18: Adam Hackerman, 18, from Court House
June 20: James Redding, 58, from Runnemede, N.J.
