WOODBINE – The following are the arrests made by the Woodbine State Police and their activities from March 10-April 25.
Arrests: The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendants are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty. This report is based on information received from law enforcement. Note: The abbreviation CDS is used throughout for controlled-dangerous substance.
Anthony Allen, 21, from Belleplain was charged March 10 with multiple counts of theft and fencing for admittedly stealing over $4,000 from local residences. He was processed and released pending court.
Julian Elliott, 33, from Woodbine was charged March 16 with possession of CDS (heroin and marijuana), possession of prescription legend drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia during a one-car motor vehicle crash investigation (car into a pole) in Woodbine. She was also charged with DWI. She was processed and released.
Kevin Barnes, 19, from Woodbine / Steelmantown was charged March 17 with fencing, theft, conspiracy, possession CDS, prohibited weapons, unlawful possession of weapons, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, hypodermic needles, prescription legend drugs for admittedly stealing over $3,400 worth of jewelry and other items from his mother. He was processed and lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Center.
Jason Marsella, 39, from Sewell was charged March 18 with possession of heroin and hypodermic syringe while on a motor vehicle stop in Dennis Township. He was processed and released pending court.
Mark Burkett, 32, from Woodbine was charged March 20 with simple assault (domestic violence) for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend. During the investigations he was also found in possession of several weapons (knives/ baton) and was charged with unlawful possession. He was also served a domestic violence temporary restraining order. He was processed and released.
Jermaine Russell, 27, from Woodbine was charged March 22 with distribution and possession of cocaine for having in his possession 47 baggies containing suspected crack cocaine. He was also charged with obstruction of justice. Also confiscated was $307. He was processed and lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Center.
Angel Santiago, 30, from Wildwood was charged March 28 with possession of weapon for unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of a defaced firearm, and certain person not to possess a weapon for having a .380 caliber semi-automatic handgun on his person during an investigation in Woodbine. He was processed and lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Center.
Kimberly Cassedy, 38, from Woodbine was charged March 29 with possession of CDS (crack cocaine), and drug paraphernalia during a motor vehicle stop in Upper Township. She was also charged with DWI.
Marvin Baker, 36, from Woodbine was charged March 29 with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest during a well-being investigation in Woodbine. He was taken to Cape Regional Medical Center for crisis evaluation and released.
Gabrielle Kent, 23, from Belleplain was charged March 30 with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia during a motor vehicle stop in Dennis Township. She was processed and released pending court.
Robert Farrington, 60, from Woodbine was charged April 2 with possession of marijuana during a motor vehicle stop in Woodbine. He was also charged with DWI. He was processed and released pending court.
Lisa Harris, 48, from Corbin City was charged April 6 with harassment for admittedly making threatening statements to an employee at Steenland’s Gas Service in Belleplain. She was processed and eventually released pending court.
Charles Markham, 32, from West Wildwood was charged April 8 with two counts of shoplifting for allegedly stealing approximately $270 of goods from the Marmora ShopRite on two occasions. He was processed and released pending court.
