Woodbine State Police Release Arrest and Activities Report, Jan. 25 – Feb. 12

WOODBINE – The following are the arrests made by the Woodbine State Police and their activities from Jan. 25-Feb. 12.
Arrests: The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendants are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
Priscilla Laboy, 19, and Jacob Wyman, 26, both from Upper Twp., were charged Jan. 30 with receiving stolen property and fencing for their involvement in a reported theft of approx $1,000 in jewelry from a residence in Upper Twp. Approximately $800 worth of the jewelry was recovered and returned to the victim.
Robert Powell, 69, from Avalon, was charged Feb. 3 with hindering apprehension after giving false information as to his true identity during a police investigation to avoid apprehension for several outstanding and active warrants.
Quinn Dozier, 32, from Ocean View, was charged Feb. 4 with forgery, identity theft, and theft by deception for forging a signature to fraudulently activate an iPad account of another for his own use.
Jermaine Russell, 26, from Woodbine, was charged Feb. 5 with operating a motor vehicle while on the suspended list.
Denzelle Wilson, 22, from Woodbine, and Ziyad Walker, 28, from Patterson, NJ, were arrested for possession of crack cocaine, prescription legend drugs and drug paraphernalia Feb. 5. Walker was also charged with hindering apprehension and possession of marijuana during a motor vehicle stop. Both were charged and lodged in Cape May County Correctional Center.
Joshua Devericks, 23, from Middle Twp., and Alexander Mendes, 29, from Haskell, NJ, were charged Feb. 6 with distribution of CDS (heroin), CDS on school property, possession of CDS and conspiracy to distribute CDS during a fugitive from justice investigation involving Devericks who was wanted from a case stemming from October 2014 (weapons charges, CDS and manufacturing counterfeit U.S. currency). The Woodbine State Police Criminal Investigation Unit, working with the NJSP Fugitive Unit, U.S. Secret Service, and Somers Point and Linwood Police Departments, located Devericks at a residence in Linwood, NJ. Investigation led to the arrest of both subjects and the recovery of contraband. Both accused were later transported to the Atlantic County Jail and lodged.
Oscar Kohlhass, 52, from Somers Point, NJ was charged Feb. 7 with contempt for violating a final restraining order by sending text messages to his ex-girlfriend (the victim).
George Bross, 18, from Ocean View, and Jared Lopez, 18, from Absecon, NJ, were charged Feb. 8 with possession of CDS (marijuana) and drug paraphernalia while on a motor vehicle stop in Upper Twp. Both were charged and released pending court.
Jason Bass, 29, from Dennis Twp., was charged Feb. 11 with simple assault, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief for allegedly assaulting his brother and damaging a wall in his residence. He was released pending court.
Richard Startare, 22, from Court House, was charged Feb. 12 with possession of CDS (marijuana) while on a motor vehicle stop in Dennis Twp.

Jan. 25: Duane Lore, 46, from Upper Twp.
Feb. 7: Theresa Colangelo, 49, from Norristown, Pa.
Feb. 10: Daniel Allegretto, 22, from Sea Isle City
