STONE HARBOR — A North Wildwood woman was charged with impersonating an officer after allegedly distributing flyers regarding a potential shoplifting subject in local retail stores.
Police received information that on Aug. 11 a person was giving out information in Stone Harbor businesses on an alleged shoplifter. In at least one of the stores, the person claimed to be a Wildwood police detective.
