Woman Arrested for Theft of Cell Phone from Municipal Court

NORTH WILDWOOD – North Wildwood Police took a report regarding a cell phone that was stolen from inside the courtroom of the City of North Wildwood Municipal Court while court was in session Tuesday, April 21 at approximately 2 p.m.
Further investigation revealed that the accused, Jacquelyn Dunbar, committed the theft by taking the cell phone. Officer Joseph Kopetsky recovered the cell phone and arrested Dunbar at North Wildwood Police headquarters without incident.
Dunbar, 26, residing in North Wildwood, was arrested and charged with theft. Bail was set by Judge Louis J. Belasco, Jr. in the amount of $1,000/10 percent for the theft. Dunbar posted bail and was released pending court.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
