VILLAS – Lower Township police received a stolen motor vehicle report from the 100 block of Birch Rd. in the Villas section of Lower Township Aug. 31 at approximately 2:10 a.m.
Police investigation led to the arrest of Jacquelyne B. McLaughlin of the 200 block of Sigel St., Philadelphia, Pa
.
McLaughlin was apprehended and the stolen motor vehicle was recovered. During her arrest she was found to be in possession of a white powdery substance in a plastic bag, suspected cocaine.
McLaughlin was charged with theft of a motor vehicle, along with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Municipal Court Judge Thomas Hillegass set bail at $20,000 cash. McLaughlin was transported to the Cape May County Correctional Center in lieu of bail.
This investigation was conducted by Patrolman Matthew Gamble.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
