Wildwood Woman Arrested in Stabbing Incident

WILDWOOD – Wildwood police arrested a woman for allegedly stabbing another woman during an argument.

Police were called to an apartment building at 231 E. Lincoln Ave. after a report of a stabbing March 8.

According to information released by the Wildwood Police Department, the responding officers found a woman with minor swelling to her mouth and a minor abrasion to her upper left leg. Police also detained Alisha Seda, 20, of Wildwood, as part of their investigation and transported her back to police headquarters.

The Wildwood Police Department Detective Division obtained additional information indicating that Seda allegedly used a kitchen knife to assault the victim during the course of a verbal argument inside an apartment. A search of the room recovered the weapon, which was submitted as evidence.

Seda was charged with third-degree aggravated assault, third-degree possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, and fourth-degree certain persons not to possess a weapon.

Seda was incarcerated at the Cape May County Correctional Facility in accordance with the Attorney General Guidelines, promulgated in connection with the Criminal Justice Bail Reform Policies and Directives.
