Wildwood Police Search for Robbery Suspects

WILDWOOD — Police are asking the for the public’s help in locating two men they said broke into an apartment, armed with handguns, and assaulted two victims during a robbery in the early morning Aug. 23.
According to police reports, the robbers forced their way into an apartment in the 400 block of West Maple Avenue and sprayed a chemical agent in the victims’ faces. One victim was reportedly hit in the face with a handgun and the impact discharged a bullet that grazed the victim.
Wallets, money and cell phones were taken from the victims before the robbers reportedly ransacking the apartment for valuables.
The two suspects, described as black males in their early to mid-20, one with short cropped hair with facial hair from his ears to his chin and the other as thin with short braided hair and a goatee, were last seen driving away in a dark sport utility vehicle.
