Wildwood Police Nab Drug Pusher, Car Burglar

WILDWOOD — On July 14, at approximately 1:15 a.m., members of the Wildwood Police Department Boardwalk Patrol Division were advised by persons on the Boardwalk of a male who had asked them if they wanted to purchase a drug known as “ecstasy.”
The people pointed out the male to the police officers. The male was stopped at Maple Avenue and the Boardwalk and identified as Ronald Jackson a 31-year old male who resides in Wildwood, and is currently unemployed.
Further investigation into this matter led to the arrest of Jackson for possession of prescription legend drugs, and possession of a schedule III narcotic (both crimes of the third degree).
Judge David S. DeWeese set bail for Jackson on these offenses at $15,000 cash or bond, no 10 percent. Jackson could not post the required bail and he was lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Center.
Also on July 14, 2010 members of the Wildwood Police Department Uniformed Patrol Division, responded to the area of Spencer and Atlantic avenues on multiple reports of a man who was attempting to break into automobiles.
Upon the arrival of officers to the scene they located a male in the process of burglarizing a motor vehicle in the 100 block of East Spencer Avenue. The officers were able to place the subject under arrest without incident.
The perpetrator was identified as 19-year old Dustin Pillonato who is currently unemployed and who resides in Cape May, Pillonato was charged with criminal attempt (burglary) and criminal trespass.
Judge DeWeese set bail on Pillnato on these charges at $15,000, cash or bond no 10 percent. Pillonato could not post the required bail, and he was incarcerated in the Cape May County Correctional Center.
