WILDWOOD — On Tue., July 13 at 1 a.m., a Wildwood foot patrol officer stopped Raja Easterling, 21, of Bensalem, in the area of Youngs and Pacific avenues for open display of alcohol.
A contempt warrant was also located for Easterling, police said.
When the officer placed Easterling under arrest, he assaulted the officer and fled on foot. The officer pursued Easterling and apprehended him as he attempted to discard suspected marijuana.
Easterling was charged with resisting arrest, obstruction, aggravated assault on a police officer, possession of marijuana, and open display of alcohol.
His bail was set at $10,000 cash and he was lodged in county jail.
