WILDWOOD – Wildwood Police Department Detective Division concluded a three week investigation concerning the sales of narcotics from 108 West Rio Grande Avenue, Unit #2, located in the City of Wildwood Feb. 5.
At approximately 8:30 p.m. Feb. 5, the Cape May County SWAT Team along with the Cape May County Sheriffs Department Canine Unit, executed a court authorized search warrant at 108 West Rio Grande Avenue, Unit #2, Wildwood, in connection to the active narcotics sales/distribution.
As a result of the execution of the search warrant, distribution quantities of narcotics, specifically heroin, were recovered. The narcotics were prepackaged for street level sales and had an estimated street value of approximately one thousand dollars. Additionally, seized in connection to the search warrant was money identified as proceeds of illicit street level sales of narcotics and a 2010 Harley Davidson motorcycle, which was identified as stolen property, and was valued at approximately $25,000.
As a result of the investigation, Jason Sierra, 18, residing at 108 East Rio Grande Avenue, Unit #2, Wildwood and Emely Sierra-Pabon, 22, residing at 108 East Rio Grande Avenue, Unit #2, Wildwood, were arrested in connection to the distribution of narcotics from the premise. Sierra and Sierra-Pabon were charged with possession of heroin, a crime of the third degree and possession of heroin with intent to distribute, a crime of the third degree. Additionally, Sierra-Pabon was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a crime of the second degree.
Judge Dorothy Garrabrant of the Wildwood Municipal Court set bail at $30,000, full cash, no ten percent. Sierra and Sierra-Pabon were unable to post bail and were incarcerated at the Cape May County Correctional Center.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendants are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
