WILDWOOD — The Wildwood police responded to a call at Schellenger and New Jersey Avenues around 3 a.m. Sat., July 16 regarding a possible stabbing.
Upon their arrival they found the victim who had sustained a laceration to his chin as well as a laceration to the palm of his left hand. The victim was transported to Cape Regional Medical Center by Wildwood Fire/Rescue.
A follow-up investigation of the incident identified two suspects. They were identified as Dvon Chislom, 18, of Wildwood and a 15-year-old male juvenile from Atlantic City. During the investigation it was found that both suspects had also sustained minor wounds from an ‘unidentified sharp edge weapon’. It was also ascertained that the two suspects attempted to rob the victim.
Chislom was charged with aggravated assault and robbery. He was released from custody with a summons complaint. The 15-year-old male juvenile was charged with aggravated assault, robbery, possession of a weapon, and unlawful possession of a weapon. He is being held in the Cumberland County Juvenile Detention Center.
