West Wildwood Police Make Drug Arrest

WEST WILDWOOD – On Aug. 11 at approximately 1:20 a.m., Officer Morgano of the West Wildwood Police Department arrested Andrew Schaefer of Penndel, PA, for the possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Officer Morgano observed Schaefer’s vehicle parked on 26th Street in the area of the bulkhead in West Wildwood at approximately 1:20 a.m. Given the time of day and location, Officer Morgano thought this to be suspicious and therefore approached the vehicle to investigate.
The field interview conducted by Officer Morgano and Sgt. Miceli incidentally led to the discovery and retrieval of marijuana as well as drug paraphernalia.
