Warrant Arrest Leads to Drug Arrest

NORTH WILDWOOD – North Wildwood Police Officer Eric Nevil stopped Chet Labov on the 2500 block of Central Avenue to serve warrants that were out for his arrest from Woodbine and Dennis Township Municipal Courts Jan. 15 at 12:40 p.m.
Chet Labov, 30, residing in Dennisville, was arrested on the warrants. Further investigation revealed that Labov was in possession of an amount of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of hypodeminc needles and possession of drug paraphernaila.
Labov was charged with the drug possession offenses and was lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Center on a warrant with Judge Louis J. Belasco, Jr. setting bail at $10,000/10 percent.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
