WILDWOOD CREST – A female came to Wildwood Crest police headquarters Sept. 4 and reported being assaulted on Sept. 2. The victim told officers that she was repeatedly assaulted and terrorized by an acquaintance.
That person, Tony Driscoll, Jr., 31, of Villas, was arrested on alleged simple assault and terroristic threat charges stemming from the incident. His bail was set at $5,000/10 percent. Driscoll posted the 10 percent and was released.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty. This report is based on information received from law enforcement.
