COURT HOUSE- The body of a white, middle-aged male was found next to the railroad tracks April 14 at 10:11 a.m. near Goshen-Swainton Road and Dennisville Road just off the railroad tracks.
The body was next to an access trail used by Atlantic City Electric. It was discovered by two hunters who placed a 9-1-1 call to authorities.
Middle Township police reported that the body had sustained an apparent gunshot wound. They withheld identification pending notification of next of kin.
The Southern Regional Medical Examiner was summoned to the scene. The investigation continued, but police stated that, at this point, there appeared to be no foul play.
