COURT HOUSE – Middle Township Police identified and arrested Scott Swayngim, 47, of Tuckahoe, Dec. 5, for the theft of a jacket with personal belongings from inside Middle Township Municipal Court Dec. 4 at 3:50 p.m.
According to a comment on Middle Township Police Department’s Facebook page, Facebook fans provided the information that led to his arrest.
The Middle Township Police Department encourages anyone who observes suspicious activity to contact the police department immediately at 465-8700, or leave an anonymous tip with the Cape May County Crime Stoppers at 609-465-2800.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
