WILDWOOD — A Boardwalk merchant’s attorney termed as “totally inaccurate” Police allegations that a sexual assault occurred at Gemini stores.
On July 25 at approximately 5:15 p.m., Alexandre A. Look, a 19- year-old male who resides in Miami, Fla., and is employed as a sales manager at a store on the Wildwood Boardwalk, was arrested without incident by members of the Wildwood Police Department Detective Division.
This concluded an investigation by the Wildwood Police Department Uniformed Patrol Division and the Wildwood Police Department Detective Division into an incident that occurred on July 22, at the Gemini store where Look is employed, at 3310 Boardwalk, according to police.
Scott Becker, attorney for the Gemini store, told the Herald that “the alleged incident did not occur at the Gemini store.”
According to Wildwood Detective Lt. Terry Oslar, Gemini has two locations, and Look provided police with the one at 3604 Boardwalk as the location of his employ. The store sells clothing as well as offering tattoo and body piercing services.
Look was charged with committing an act of criminal sexual contact upon a 24-year-old woman who resides in Mount Ephriam, and who was a patron of the store.
Look was also charged with criminal restraint upon the same victim. Both of these acts are crimes of the third degree. Look is alleged to have taken the victim into a rear storage room of the store, and not permitting her to leave the room until a sexual act was completed.
Judge David S. Deweese set the bail for Look at $25,000 cash or bond, no 10 percent and, condition of release being no contact with the victim. Look could not post the required bail, and was lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Center.
