RIO GRANDE – Middle Township Major Crime Unit, along with the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office, and NJ Transit Police arrested suspect Clifford Ginyard, 29, of Rio Grande, on Ohio Ave. in Atlantic City, NJ Aug. 10.
It was alleged that Ginyard entered the Bank of America in Rio Grande and slipped the teller a note demanding money August 9 at 12:59 p.m. The suspect was given $1,000 cash and left the bank, according to police.
The suspect had been seen walking south on 4th Street after the incident occurred.
Ginyard was charged with first degree robbery and is being held in the Cape May County Correctional Center on $100,000 bail.
