UPDATE: Man Arrested for College Bomb Threat

COURT HOUSE — Hamilton Township (Atlantic County) police reported the arrest of Sergio Feliciano, 23, of Vineland Sept. 12 in connection with a bomb threat to the Atlantic Cape Community College. The threat was received “via a post on the social media site Twitter. The campus was evacuated,” according to a police release.
All campuses were evacuated as a precaution about 2:23 p.m., via text message from the college.
All campuses were declared clear Sept. 12 and normal operations resumed at 5 p.m. Classes that evening were canceled. Activities resumed Sept. 13.
Feliciano was taken into custody, charged with causing false public alarm (a third degree crime) and terroristic threats (3a third degree crime). He was released on a summons pending court.
Assisting with the investigation was the Vineland Police Department, Atlantic City Police Department, Stockton College Police Department, Atlantic County Sheriff’s Department and the Cape May County Sheriff’s Department.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
