COURT HOUSE- Cape May County Prosecutor Robert L. Taylor and Wildwood Police Chief Steve Long announce the arrest of two local residents of Wildwood, during the execution of a search warrant in Wildwood, New Jersey. The arrests are the result of a cooperative effort by the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns, and Narcotics Task Force and the Wildwood Police Department.
On July 31, 2013, a Court Authorized Search warrant was executed by the Cape May County Regional S.W.A.T team in the 100 West block of Hand Avenue in Wildwood, New Jersey. As a result of the investigation, 14 bags of heroin, 6 bags of cocaine and an amount of marijuana were seized from the residence. As a result of the investigation, Manuel Osoria, (47) years old and Carlos Osoria, (35) were charged with the following;
Possession of cocaine and heroin, a third degree crime.
Possession of cocaine and heroin with the intent to distribute, a crime of the third degree. Possession of marijuana, a disorderly person offense.
Manuel Osoria was additionally charged with resisting arrest, a crime of fourth degree and lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Facility in lieu of $40,000.00 full cash bail. Carlos Osoria, was released on a summons complaint.
Prosecutor Taylor advises that persons convicted of a third degree crime are subject to a term of imprisonment of 3 to 5 years in New Jersey State Prison.
