By Press Release

VILLAS – Lower Township Police officers responded to the 1500 Block of Bayshore Road in Villas for a burglary to a motor vehicle Wednesday, June 10 at approximately 3:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, Patrolman James McNulty spoke with witnesses who related details of two subjects involved in entering a parked car and taking a purse from it. He also obtained descriptions of a male and a female witnesses say committed the crime. Patrolman McNulty located two subjects in the 1400 Block of Bayshore Road who matched the descriptions he was given. George P. Greller Jr., 37, from Holmes, Pa. and Lindsay J. McGinley, 27, from Ridle Park, Pa. were both arrested and charged with burglary and theft. Judge Thomas Hillegass set bail at $20,000 each. Both subjects were placed in the Cape May County Correctional Center in lieu of bail.
During the course of Patrolman McNulty’s investigation, Greller was found to be a wanted person out of Delaware County, Pa. Patrolman McNulty charged Greller with being a fugitive from justice. Judge Thomas Hillegass authorized the warrant and Assignment Judge Michael Donzio denied bail for the fugitive warrant.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendants are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
