VILLAS – Detective Michael Perry was on patrol conducting surveillance May 3 at 12:30 a.m. when he observed a suspicious vehicle in the Villas section of the township where several burglaries had been reported.
The vehicle was occupied by three male juveniles.
Upon stopping the vehicle, Detective Perry observed several items in the rear of the vehicle that were similar to items taken from the recent burglaries.
Further investigation by Lower Township detectives led to the arrest of the three juveniles and the recovery of stolen property.
At this time, the three juveniles are going to be charged with five counts of burglary, theft, and criminal mischief, and two counts of arson. One of the juveniles will be charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, as well as one juvenile being charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendants are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
