Third Suspect Arrested in Woodbine Murder

WOODBINE — A third man has been arrested as a suspect in the kidnapping and murder of Khalil Wallace.
According to State Police, Norman Gray, 25, of Millville, was arrested and charged with Murder, Conspiracy to Commit Murder, Kidnapping, Conspiracy to Commit Kidnapping, Weapons Offenses, Hindering Apprehension and Desecrating human remains.
Gray’s arrest took place on Wed., Oct. 26, while he was lodged in the Ocean County Jail on a parole violation.
Bail was set at $1 million, full cash. He remains lodged in the Ocean County Jail.
Wallace, 19, the father of an 8-month-old daughter, was last seen Sept. 20 voluntarily entering a minivan outside a store on Washington Avenue in the borough. He was reported as missing on Sept. 22. His body was discovered Oct. 6 in a small lake in Downe Township, Cumberland County.
Identification of the body was made through fingerprints.
Police have ruled Wallace’s death a homicide.
Two Millville men were previously charged as suspects in Wallace’s kidnapping and murder. Boris Curwin, 19, surrendered to State Police on Oct. 7 and was remanded to the Cape May County Jail. Curwin’s cash bail was set at $1 million. Andre Gross, 27, surrendered to State Police on Oct. 9 and was remanded to the Cumberland County Jail in lieu of $1 million cash bail.
Both Curwin and Gross entered not guilty pleas in an appearance before Superior Court Judge Raymond Batten on Oct. 11. Both men remain in jail.
