Theft Investigation Leads to Drug Arrest

NORTH CAPE MAY – Lower Township Police were called to the 100 block of Sunnyside Drive in North Cape May to investigate a debit card theft March 16.
Approximately two hours later, police responded a second time for a family dispute. While at this location, it was discovered Ashley Molisani, 29, was the suspect from the debit card theft. Further investigation by Patrolman James McNulty led to the arrest of Molisani.
She was charged with theft, fourth degree, possession of heroin, third degree and use of or being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance, a disorderly persons offense.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
